Running The Milk

Flying Like None Other

Described by Alaska Airlines as a “hop, skip and a jump along Southeast Alaska’s coast”, their ‘Milk Run’ is a flight like no other. It provides a lifeline service to remote communities cut off from the road network. Originally flown by bush pilots, it now sees three scheduled daily flights in each direction, between them serving nine communities from Seattle in the south, to Anchorage in the north.

Running The Milk is the story of my journey on these flights.
